I i'm not going to be able to make this trip. My brother has MS and he took a fall last week and was in the hospital, and now I have to watch him and he is going to have to go to a nursing home. But he needs help now , and I am the only one who will take care of him, I was going to volunteer at the Honoring heroes Festival, but will not be able to.

HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS WEBSITE. I tried to cancel 10 min after I made the reservation and I never got a refund. This people are scammers. Their cancellation policies are B.S. I feel bad for the call center agents, they have to deal with angry customers...

I had a communication issue. Lost hotel reservation.

Just had a fast reponse to my earlier review, it was resolved and the lady I spoke to was very kind.

Our hotel booking was cancelled successfully and Getaroom put a full refund back on my Visa. The staff I dealt with were very understanding and kind to me and also quick to respond.LOL"

Uncleanliness of hotel

I made reservations through getaroom at the Holiday Inn Solomons Conf Center and Marina for arrival 9/4/20 departing 9/6/20. Conf# R210082****. The sheer white curtains above the air conditioner were black. I'm assuming the filter hadn't been changed in a long time. The whole place looked run down. There was another guest who told me there was a urine stain on his sheet upon check in. Had I known ahead of time I would have NEVER picked this place.

Resolved: Will not put in writing “Ocean view room”

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. FAST Response...customer service called me within an hour of posting my review. They understood my frustration and refunded my money.Thank you greatly!.

SCAM!!! The customer service agent told me I would be getting an ocean view room. I asked her several times if this was the price for an ocean view room. She said yes several times. When I got the confirmation it said double occupancy . I called back and asked her to put it in writing. When I called back there was so many screaming children in the background I had to ask her to quiet her people so I could hear her. She remembered me, seeing that it had only been 5 minutes since we spoke. As she was looking into my concern conveniently we got disconnected. When I called back I got someone else. He told me that basically she lied to me. I will not get an ocean view room.....more than likely. Seeing that I was mislead. And I immediately called when I got the email. Im not obligated for $752 penalty. The reference number is R210379****. SCAM....DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY

Perfect response

Just mins. after trying to contact this company for a refund and posting a request to this website, I received a call from Consumer Club giving me a full refund for a hotel reservation I had to cancel. Kudos to Consumer Club for great customer service and to this site for creating the avenue to have action taken.

GetARoom Excellent Service!

I had to add two extra days onto my Stay in Washington for 2017 on googling all booking sites they all came back at $398 a night which I found crazy as the four nights I had already booked was only $542 in total! Called Hotel they gave me the same price as online! They gave me GetARoom web site as they could see it was cheaper! When I went into GetaRoom web site they were quoting $398 per night but then I saw in the corner an add call them and get a better deal! As I am in Australia and they are based in the USA I thought why not can't hurt to ask! They went beyond there customer service and got me a deal for $120 plus taxes per night! I ended up getting two nights in a deluxe room for the price of one excellent customer service will use again!
