Needed copy of billing for expense report.

book a room for coworker for business trip. the e-receipt was sent to a wrong email address so I never got the receipt. They followed up and provide me with a copy of the transaction at time of billing. was able to submit that as a valid receipt. They are $150 more expensive than booking directly thru the hotel. Would not use them again!!

Charges on room

Getaroom charged for my room at the time I made the reservation. I was not aware. Neither was Holiday Inn. So, hotel staff charged me for the same reservation. Lack of communication. I only caught the error when I looked over monthly statement. No one knew this had happened. To give credit to getaroom their customer service handled the situation professionally and as quickly as possible.

User's recommendation: Read and be aware what happens when you make a reservation.

They have sent a refund to Citi Bank

The company getaroom have informed me that they have sent a full refund to my master card at Citibank.

User's recommendation: Make sure that this or any other company you book through send you all the detail of the reservation.

Worst of the Worst

Today Get A Room called and we were able to resolve this dispute. It's unfortunate it took multiple calls to both Get A Room and the hotel but am thankful that Get A Room agreed to refund my reservation.

Reservation Hyatt Place Chicago

The reservation was for 2 queens we got 2 rooms with 2 kings. The heat did not work so they brought up a space heater. Yes, a space heater. That failed so they brought up another space heater. Never offered another room and they had them available as it turns out. My daughter and granddaughter left a day early . A fairly new hotel and this is the service. I spoke with Hector Gonzales , the manager and he with credit the room when he hears from you.

Patrick, Our records indicate you filed a dispute with your credit card company. As of today, our Risk Management Department has advised this dispute is still pending.

The process of investigating a claim takes 90 days.

At this time our Service Team is unable to assist with regards to any possibility of refund or resolution for this booking until the dispute has been concluded. Sincerely, Getaroom

After pushing through 20 days of phone calls and pulling in my banking institution we did receive refund of $1313.00. I understand the policy no refunds after booking but company would do better to take the time to understand the issue. I had put wrong hotel! I appreciate that it got escalated to someone that made the refund happen.

Like many on here i booked my room based on the price shown on their website £62 I entererd my details and my payment details clicked confirm. when the conformation came through i had been charged £101.46 I questioned via their customer care team where the additional charge of £39.39 had come from and was told it was a tax recovery charge. I complained and requested a refund and to cancel my booking only to be told it was non refundable. This is totally unacceptable, they have no respect for their customers

Bad wet hotel room.

I stayed Aug 11 to Aug 14 at Best Western Beach side 308 Santa Rosa Blvd Fort Walton Beach Fort Walton Florida. I had to change rooms 3 times in 4 nights. One was a Handicap room that smelled second room water sprinkler system broke .
