Very poor customer service-everyone is named Murphy

I didnt realize I was booking through a third party website until I called customer service three minutes after making the reservation for the wrong dates. I was told by a young man named Murphy that modifications or cancellations couldnt be made because it was prepaid. After calling the hotel and informed they couldnt do anything about it, I called customer service again, this time speaking to a woman named Murphy and was told the same thing. Looks like Ill be disputing it with my credit card company.

Hotel booking

My booking was double booked I booked a room somehow it typed I never seen anything come up on the screen and after it was done it was booked I reserved three different hotels that night never use this company for booking

To tell people beware of this company and the way they operate

R351048**** We booked a room and I have the confirmation email for the jacuzzi in suite room. The hotel was apologetic. Getaroom.com gives you the run around and got their $ for a service not even provided. Out $ when we did not stay (after commuting for an hour) and they could care less. Complete scam. Reporting to FTC and attorney general next.

Le site "Getaroom" s'est imposé lors d'une réservation en direct sur un site d'hôtel et sous couvert du site "Booking". Ayant constaté malheureusement trop tard de la supercherie, j'ai annulé la réservation auprès de Getaroom qui ne m'a été remboursée qu'au 2/3 par Getaroom alors qu'elle a été annulée auprès de l'hôtel par Booking et gratuitement !!! C'est à n'y rien comprendre et en tous cas, il s'agit d'une belle arnaque. MEFIEZ VOUS et vérifier avant de payer...

On the phone reservation they wrongly booked for me 1 rooms instead of 5, when I had the connection back they had only 1 available and they took the money for that. I could not go there because the group doesn't fit and now after 1 month and several email I am not able to have my money back.No, absolutely

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they will rip you off, I booked a room for a few nights at a $220/night charge and they charged me a $326 FEE. That is a rip off!!! They would not allow me to cancel the reservation either, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and lost the dispute. Don't get ripped off, don't use this company! They have over 1700 complaints listed on the Better Business Bureau!
