Yes! This is exactly what happened to me!

I finally was able to get them to refund me by calling the hotel, explaining to them, and having the reservation service call the hotel. But oh my god, what a miserable process!

I called immediately to tell them I dont know I moved off the Holiday Inn website and how my room was booked in Charlotte, NC. I am in Singapore. I received NO HELP. They said I couldnt cancel and, oh well, so sorry. I immediately called American Express to challenge the expense. I HATE this site. I never heard of them and recommend you never use a third party vendor!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they will rip you off, I booked a room for a few nights at a $220/night charge and they charged me a $326 FEE. That is a rip off!!! They would not allow me to cancel the reservation either, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and lost the dispute. Don't get ripped off, don't use this company! They have over 1700 complaints listed on the Better Business Bureau!

Bad customer service

We booked room for 3 days, due to unknown circumstances we could not go and called to cancel but of no use. Atleast they should have canceled next 2 days and keep 1 day $$, we called asked for manager but rep had no knowledge, asked for manager but didnt connect

I canceled my reservation on the same day I made them, but they will not return my money

I canceled my reservations on the same day I made them but Holiday Inn Express nor Getaroom will give me my $650.00 back. I opened a case with getaroom I asked them to listen the recording because all of the calls are recorded. No one ever got back to me I have called 3 time and put on hold for long periods of time. Be careful when using this service most of the agents can't speak good English. Use a money care not your bank card nor a credit care get some off the wall money card.

I haven’t received any email from them yet but someone called from getaroom and said they will fully refund and that they will email me the confirmation however I did not receive any from them yet.
