Getaroom rep clearly lied during reservation discussion. I requested king room at Holiday Inn 455 Statesboro Ga , he told me $135 total which I proceeded with.

With Getaroom rep still on phone , i reviewed emailed receipt which reflected a total of $179. I stated to the Getaroom Rep that we clearly discussed a king size room total rate of $135 and I do not agree with $179. The Getaroom rep told me to ignore the $179 on the receipt and assured me I would only be charge $135 and quickly ended call. At this time , my gut told me , I had been lied to and the room charge against my card would be $179.

I call and submitted a complaint to Getaroom couster service center. They agreed to refund me $17 of the $44 they lied and stole from me. Listen up, All the peoples of the world, DO NOT USE GETAROOM.COM for anything. They are dishonest and will steal your money.

Google reviews and complaints against Getaroom.com and you will see numberous complaints from other customers which have been lied to and stole from. Upon my arrival 3/26/19 at the reserved Holiday Inn at 455 Commerce Drive in Statesboro Ga, the man at the desk was very unprofessional and uncaring when he put me in a double room saying thatโ€™s what Getaroom reserved you. When I asked if they had available king rooms, the gentlemen at the desk of the Holiday Inn was quick to tell me he could not swap my room that was reserved through Getarroom, with a quirky grin saying, this happens a lot. Additionally the Holiday Inn rep at the desk, had me swipe my card twice at $20 dollars each for incidenttials that I did not use.

Later, when seeing the two $20 dollars charges pending on my credit card, I call the Holiday Inn in Statesboro Ga and the lady which answered my call confirmed , I had not used any incidentals, saying. the two $20 dollar charges should be removed in 5 to 7 business days, telling me to monitor to ensure pending charges are removed .

Everybody has a bad day, I get that, but that was my last stay at a Holiday Inn ..anywhere. And thatโ€™s all I got to say ...about all that!

Reason of review: Getaroom employee Lied and Stole from me.

Monetary Loss: $27.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I am surprised they are still misguiding customers and cheating them. Last year I have booked a vacation through them and they were charging $848 extra than the regular resort and they did not cancel my reservation.

They have given me hard time to get my full refund! Thanks to Pissed Consumer that they made them to give our refund by publishing my letter to many consumers!

I don't use third party "services" for anything. I'll cut my own deal with the hotel or whomever.
