Never received my room confirmation

I made a reservation for the hotel and I never received a confirmation for it. I am trying to reach you without success.

The hotel says that there is no reservation under my name.

You have already taken the money. I think you are thieves!

This is scam company who took another reservation and double booked me without my knowledge. They will not return the $606 they scammed from me.

I booked a room at Holiday inn express through Priceline for three days. The girl at the front desk advised me I had been double booked.

Priceline changed $480 Getaroom charged $606. Getaroom wouldn't refund the money as they said I didn't cancel on time.

How can you cancel what you never booked? Scammers!

Booked a room online that looked just like the hotel I wanted to book! Found out on the receipt it was this horrible company!

Immediately called to cancel transaction for the 2 night stay! They wanted to charge me a "penalty" 2x the cost of the room. They agreed to a full refund but proceeded the payment, agreed to a refund again but never issued it...they just keep lying about the refund for the penalty. I will be contact the news, state attorney, FTC and every social media account until they give me back my money they stole.

They have lied to everyone in order to keep this $1268.50 for the one minute it took me to call, they processed the de UT under the hotel name ( not their own), they have agreed twice is issue a refund but have not attempted to submit it! They said the hotel agreed to the cancelation on Jan. 4 but the hotel agreed to it when I called on Nov.

6! They are pure thieves...Run!

Called El Conquistador in Tucson to book a week's stay. Unbeknownst to me, I didn't know I had been diverted to this scam outfit.

I only found out that I had been scammed when I called to cancel the final night due to an emergency. The hotel had no record of my reservation until I asked for a manager who informed me the reservation had been made through this 3rd party.

As per the hundreds of other negative reviews online, this is impossible.

This company's behavior should receive attn. from an attorney general or federal agency.

Scam company, do not use

1. Website is set up in a way that makes you believe you are booking through Hilton.

2.

Booked and paid for a room, got to the hotel and the room was booked but not paid for. Paid the hotel directly.

3. Few days later I was charged by gettaroom for the same room I had already paid for in person.

4. The charge to the card also makes it look like they are Hilton.

5.

Confirmed with Hilton they did not receive payment from them because gettarooms credit card was declined.

6. Gettaroom kept my payment and blocked my credit card dispute.

7. Called gettaroom, cant actually speak with a person, they tell you to call the hotel directly and then hang up on you.

8.

They see my negative reviews and contact me, to tell me that they can not issue a refund because I disputed the charge. Literally all they need to do is tell said bank they messed up (or got caught in there scam)

Note- cant get a hold of them directly, but they will respond to a negative review.

Clearly a scam website.

Please cancel my booking R489861****. I did not confirmed the payment on my banking app, so how can you deduct money just because my card details was filled in.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I wrote an email to their customer service department and also wrote reviews on Google, PissedConsumer and 2 other websites. They apparently heard me, reviewed the booking and my immediate cancellation, 1 minute later, which was within their 24 hour grace period, and honored their rules - 5 days later.

I am furious with this company!
I made a reservation online and when I received the email confirmation, it said nonrefundable. I called but couldnt get any help so I emailed immediately and received an auto response with a case number.
2 days later, I called again to speak to someone because I have not received a resolution.

To my horror, I spoke to Angie. She talked over me 100% of the time and never answered my question.

She repeated the same few sentences for over 40 minutes!
She is the least intelligent representative I could ever have imagined speaking to - ANYWHERE!
I requested a transfer to a supervisor or manager after about 4 minutes and she refused to transfer my call.
She is infuriating and refused to give me any way of identifying her for my complaint.
I was informed at the beginning of the call that I was on a recorded line and I waited for a manager for over an hour, hoping, begging that I could get someone to LISTEN TO THE CALL.
The 1st reason for my call was to attempt to resolve the booking. But after 45 minutes on the phone, I just really want to do all their potential customers a favor and get her fired.
If you hear ANGIE answer the phone, hang up!!!

Have a look at trustpilot. I thought i was booking a room with Express hotel London Luton but no i get sent to Getaroom.

Dates 8.3.24 until 11.3.24 BUT I GOT NO CONFIRMATION.

And the PAYMENT was still TAKEN from my account. I AM NOT A HAPPY PERSON!!!

Made a reservation for a hotel 2 months in advance. The hotel uses getaroom.com.

Cancelled the reservation less than a week later, but getaroom is charging us a cancellation fee of more than $800. Was difficult to contact company, but once I was able to talk to someone they refused to compromise and hid by there (barely) disclosure language.

Card charged within 30 secs of canceling

I modeled a room, thought I was getting a good deal. When I charged to my CC, the cost was doubled.

I canceled within 30 secs of seeing the final cost of a nonrefundable room. My CC called to verify purchase, I declined the purchase. On the next the hotel charge was pending, then an actual charge. After going to the bank to reverse the charges, the bank did some digging and were unable to do anything from their end.

They said call Price Line (the parent company of Getaroom.com). So, I relayed the story to the agent, asked her for help with getting a refund for this mistake purchase of a nonrefundable room. She called the hotel partner and initiated the refund!

Hopefully in 5 to 7 days I'll have my $!! Yay
