I emailed them asking for my money back. The hotel even emailed them saying please refund.
They said hotel refused to refund so they couldn’t do anything. Out right lie.
This company disguised itself as the hotel I thought I was booking with. Once I realized, I asked for my money back.
I contacted the hotel, which also asked for my refund.
They lied, saying the hotel refused. This company needs to be shut down.

Cancelling rooms
I would like to talk to an actual person, I need to cancel rooms and my computer crashed so I dont have the reservation number
They suck! Do not use.

The website is scam and betrays every consumer! Do not book!
Check your hotel website twice because they might be getaroom and not the official booking site! Its scam with a charge fee AFTER booking which ist not legal (

Charged over $73 of fees and taxes that was unknown to me. Did not know this was a third party vendor will never use again the room rate at the hotel was only $107.
My account was charged $189.60 they said they would only give a one time fee back for $12. This is in my opinion bad service and business.

I was looking for a hotel room for one night stay. They present the rooms as if they are the hotel and you are booking directly.
After you agree to a room fee they email you with a different total adding their third party fees and a non refundable policy that you never agreed to when booking. I called right away and told them I had not agree to pay those fees and to please cancel my reservation. They said they would try. I called the hotel directly explained the situation and cancelled my room.
Get a room still charged my credit card for the full amount. I disputed the charges and now these people are only showing as proof of booking the final summary they sent to email with the non refundable notice and the added fees that are never shown when you book originally.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
The company posed as a legitimate website for the hotel I was booking and quoted me a sale price of $238 for the reservation. When I completed the booking, I was given an ambiguous charge of $103 for taxes, services, and fees and was told that the amount was non-refundable.
The reservation numbers they gave me are not registered on the real hotel website. I am furious both by the deception and the terrible customer experience.

There is no way to locate them, they are not true to the phones or emails, they just took money and disappeared
I made a reservation for the hotel and I never received a confirmation for it. I am trying to reach you without success.
The hotel says that there is no reservation under my name.
You have already taken the money. I think you are thieves!

We have contacted the company to no avail. They refuse to allow you to talk to a supervisor when the initial customer service rep throws up a brick wall. Lesson learned.
This company should be forced out of business by legal authorities. When I call a hotel property, I expect to get that property, not to be hijacked (unknowingly) by this outfit. I am considering filing a
Called El Conquistador in Tucson to book a week's stay. Unbeknownst to me, I didn't know I had been diverted to this scam outfit.
I only found out that I had been scammed when I called to cancel the final night due to an emergency. The hotel had no record of my reservation until I asked for a manager who informed me the reservation had been made through this 3rd party.
As per the hundreds of other negative reviews online, this is impossible.
This company's behavior should receive attn. from an attorney general or federal agency.

This is scam company who took another reservation and double booked me without my knowledge. They will not return the $606 they scammed from me.
I booked a room at Holiday inn express through Priceline for three days. The girl at the front desk advised me I had been double booked.
Priceline changed $480 Getaroom charged $606. Getaroom wouldn't refund the money as they said I didn't cancel on time.
How can you cancel what you never booked? Scammers!

Booked a room online that looked just like the hotel I wanted to book! Found out on the receipt it was this horrible company!
Immediately called to cancel transaction for the 2 night stay! They wanted to charge me a "penalty" 2x the cost of the room. They agreed to a full refund but proceeded the payment, agreed to a refund again but never issued it...they just keep lying about the refund for the penalty. I will be contact the news, state attorney, FTC and every social media account until they give me back my money they stole.
They have lied to everyone in order to keep this $1268.50 for the one minute it took me to call, they processed the de UT under the hotel name ( not their own), they have agreed twice is issue a refund but have not attempted to submit it! They said the hotel agreed to the cancelation on Jan. 4 but the hotel agreed to it when I called on Nov.
6! They are pure thieves...Run!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I wrote an email to their customer service department and also wrote reviews on Google, PissedConsumer and 2 other websites. They apparently heard me, reviewed the booking and my immediate cancellation, 1 minute later, which was within their 24 hour grace period, and honored their rules - 5 days later.
I made a reservation online and when I received the email confirmation, it said nonrefundable. I called but couldnt get any help so I emailed immediately and received an auto response with a case number.
2 days later, I called again to speak to someone because I have not received a resolution.
To my horror, I spoke to Angie. She talked over me 100% of the time and never answered my question.
She repeated the same few sentences for over 40 minutes!
She is the least intelligent representative I could ever have imagined speaking to - ANYWHERE!
I requested a transfer to a supervisor or manager after about 4 minutes and she refused to transfer my call.
She is infuriating and refused to give me any way of identifying her for my complaint.
I was informed at the beginning of the call that I was on a recorded line and I waited for a manager for over an hour, hoping, begging that I could get someone to LISTEN TO THE CALL.
The 1st reason for my call was to attempt to resolve the booking. But after 45 minutes on the phone, I just really want to do all their potential customers a favor and get her fired.
If you hear ANGIE answer the phone, hang up!!!
