Do NOT use! We booked a room, and two minutes later got a call from the hotel saying that they did not accept pets, but that we had to cancel through "getaroom".

Okay, no big deal... except we called for FOUR HOURS straight and were either on hold indefinitely or cut off. By the time we got through to a person (with a distinct Indian accent), we were told we could not cancel and we would be charged the full rate. We were very polite, but firm, and the representative simply hung up on us.

Not only that, but we weren't charged the room rate of $134.70 (which includes tax), we were charged $200! We will be disputing the charges, of course, but this booking site is an obvious rip off.

User's recommendation: Do NOT use!

Product or Service Mentioned: Getaroom Holiday Inn Express Hotels Room Booking.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Getaroom Cons: Non-refundable policy, Horrible customer service and refund policy, Charged 70 more for a room we had to cancel due.
