Charge twice

I made a booking to Hilton doubletree Luxembourg and it directed to get a room which not only scammed me about 50 euro charges but now when get my bank statement saw they charged me twice the amount.

This is really not tolerable and please investigate this and refund my money back as soon as possible

You need a direct line for Hotel Partners to contact yu and not go through the BS of trying to get to someone.

Hard to reach a human being, and then you ask for BS when you state you are a hotel partner, and your CSR do not understand that.

Trying to cancel a reservation

I unknowingly went through getaroom when I tried to make an online reservation with Holiday Inn. When I tried to cancel it, Holiday Inn said I needed to do it through getaroom.

When I called several getaroom numbers, the only recorded message I received was a recording to contact the front desk of the hotel. When I called the front desk of the hotel back, they said they would cancel my reservation at their end, but I still needed to contact getaroom or they would charge me. I finally got someone at getaroom to answer the phone when I requested a new reservation. I asked that person to connect me with customer service to make a cancellation.

Waited over an hour to get a customer service person on the line, and finally gave up. Will fight the credit charge instead when it hits.

These guys should be shutdown. They imposed a cancellation policy outside the hotel's one and charged me $180 because I caught Covid and couldnt go that week.

Room rates were deceiving

Contacted book a room, to ask for a refund within 15 minutes of making the booking as there rate was way more expensive than anyone else and the it did not clarify that it was a daily rate , they did everything in there power to not help refused to help, I spoke to the hotel direct and they were happy to cancel and refund, I advised book a room of this they did not care, I highly recommend that you do not book with book a room

Double charge on a room

I made a reservation at for the Holiday Inn express in Jasper AL for March 28. I gave a credit card number to hold the room. Upon arriving at the hotel we paid for the room with another card. We need to be reimbursement of 168.45 to my visa card for this double charge: Brenda L Fletcher 17005 FR 1135 Cassville MO. 65625

Fraudulent - Beware

We click on a link that appeared to be directly to a hotel. We made the reservation.

A few days late we noticed the fee on the credit card was larger that our two night stay. We then noticed a Tax and Recovery Service Charge. We then called and was advised they follow the hotel's cancellation policy. We called the hotel who verified 24 hours cancellation was all that they needed for a full refund.

From there we cancelled and received our cancellation email from the website that used the names Consumer Club, Inc., GetARoom.com and hotelvalues.com. Next we used Expedia to create a new reservation as we trusted them. We totally expected a full refund since the site stated they follow the hotel's cancellation policy. To date we have received nothing back.

They received a refund from the hotel plus kept our money. Do not use them!

This website refused to let me correct a date, when I called cust serv. They said no cancels allowed. Illegal if within 24 hrs. Charged my card for 8 nights!! ,

I cannot get a credit from GETAROOM for the 7 nights I did not stay! I even sent a copy of my stay from the hotel to verify my ONE night stay.

I tried calling them right away when I observed the error in the reservation, but they would not allow a change. This is illegal.

I have seen that many other consumers have had trouble with them. They are scammers, it seems.
